Carpooling is the answer!
The Carpooling Makes Sense program (CMS) is a New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT) sponsored program that provides
registered commuters participating in the program with a $100 gas gift
card. In fact, the program has recently been enhanced to provide for
additional bonuses for multi-passenger carpools
The distribution of gas cards per carpool is (maximum of $200 per
carpool - one time offer): 4+ person carpool: $200; 3-person carpool:
$150; 2-person carpool: $100
The program rules are simple. Commuters must travel together at least
24 days in a 60-day time frame to receive the benefit. All New Jersey
residents and workers are eligible for the program, subject to the requirements for the gas cards. A carpool is defined as two or more individuals, over 18 years old, sharing a ride to work, college or university.

 Pooler Payback
Want to save even more? Cross County Connection is offering those
carpoolers who have successfully completed the CMS program the
chance to earn another $100 gas gift card. The Pooler Payback program is funded through CCCTMA and has the same rules and regulations as the initial Carpooling Makes Sense program. To be eligible for
the Pooler Payback program commuters must successfully complete
the CMS program and continue carpooling an additional six months.
Carpools must then re-register for the Pooler Payback program and
carpool another 24 days in a 60 day period.
