Habitats...Food webs... Conservation... Oh my! Join Scientist Sarah in this 4week program series for a unique exploration on how living things relate and
interact with each other and their environment.
Each week, you and your child will enjoy an engaging story and interactive
demonstrations, followed by a hands-on science project. Budding scientists can
make their own terrarium; dissect an owl pellet; create paper from recycled
materials; and fashion a fish. Plus, predict the effects of acid rain; learn about
Venus Fly Trap adaptation and more! After each class, you can enjoy a day of
play in the museum.
Week 1: Learn about habitats and ecosystems
Week 2: Explore Food Webs and Life Cycles through dissection
Week 3: Uncover the mystery of natural selection and see how organisms
adapt to live in their environment.
Week 4: Find out what you can do to protect our environment. Filtrate your own
water and learn how to make paper.
