CHARACTERISTICS OF LENS MATERIAL
Acrylic: Good weather resistance, average impact resistance, and high reflectivity
Polycarbonate: Average weather resistance, excellent impact resistance, and good reflectivity
SIZING GUIDELINES
As these mirrors reduce the image size, it is important to use a mirror that is large enough to allow visiblity and detail of
the area you are monitoring. A good rule of thumb is to use one inch of mirror diameter for every foot of distance you
are from the area you are monitoring (watching a 30’ area, select a 30” diameter mirror).
INSTALLATION
Convex Mirrors: Mounting hardware is included along with easy to follow instructions. Convex mirrors feature heavy
duty adjustable ball-swivels and corrosion resistant steel brackets.
Dome Mirrors: Dome mirrors have pre-drilled holes for direct ceiling installation. Full domes include hanging chains. Half
and Quarter Dome mirrors feature the Easy Clip system for fast installation on suspended grid ceilings.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Clean with a microfiber cloth using ammonia free glass cleaner or a gentle soap and water solution. Do not use any
harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaning materials.
