Boston Tea Party Comic Strip
Directions: You will create a 6 box comic strip about the Boston Tea Party. It
must include dialogue, color, a title, and describe the Tea Act. Complete the
steps below first to help you learn about the event and prepare for making
your comic strip on the next page.
1) While you read Eyewitness to History: The Boston Tea Party, 1773
highlight or underline 6 events or important details. These will be the
scenes for your comic strip. As your comic strip only has 6 boxes be
picky about what you select. Your comic strip must be entertaining
but also tell the whole story of the Boston Tea Party.
2) Create a title for your comic strip. Brainstorm some ideas on the line
below.

3) Plan out each scene for your assignment. In the box next to the
number of each scene provide a brief description of the event you
underlined and what you’ll include in each scene (people, setting,
dialogue, etc).
