The Metrolink system operates over rail rights-of-way owned by SCRRA member agencies, Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad
(BNSF), Union Pacific Railroad (UPRR) and North County Transit District (NCTD)

The list of crossings now includes 48 crossings in two categories not included in the Fact Sheet prior to December 2007. These
include four Pedestrian Private Crossings and 44 Station Crossings.
