Paperisbrokendownchemicallyormechanicallytofree
thefibresandcreatepulp.Thepulpisrunthoughspecial
rollersthatremovethemoistureandflattenmaterialinto
giantrollsofpaper.Wasteproductsfromtherecycling
process,ink,shortfibresandplastics(called‘sludge’)are
eithersentintolandfill,burntforenergyorusedassoil
conditioner.
