Welcome to Lischana hut at 2500 m, in the heart of Engadin Dolomite alps, with
sensationally view down to Scuol.
We are open from June 18th to October 9th in Summer 2016.
The team, Ursula with Lukas and Lukas, Urezza, Karin and Röbi and our dog JJ is looking
forward to welcome you in an authentic Swiss alpine hut with influence of Austria and
Northern Italy. We want to pamper you with the best of Swiss, Italian and Austrian kitchen
and drinks. Enjoy your relaxing hours in our fine and tiny rooms.
The hut up on a prominent rocky hill was constructed in 1926 by the alpine club of lower
Engadin and offers space for 42 persons.
A 2,5 hours trek will lead you up from the parking area in San Jon. You also can reach it by
bus no. 913 from the railway station in Scuol. Enjoy the view and relax on our sunny terrace.
The trekking to Uina canyon and to Sur En is one of the most famous tours around the hut.
Or make a round trip of three days from Scuol by passing Lischana hut and Piz Lischana to
Sesvenna hut and back to S-charl and Scuol.
Our crew will help you to find all these wonderful things you can explore on your trip:
whistling marmots, shy ibexes in the morning dust, wonderful coloured screes in the area of
Piz Lischana, blue lakes like diamonds in white pebble - the Lajs da Rims.
Allegra – this Romanic word for welcome means also heartiness, hospitality, joy of life and
enthusiasm but it is also a synonym for tradition and identity.
