In 2016, Hospitality Mints celebrates 40 years in business. As a
company built on hard work, determination and innovation, we are
extremely proud of our accomplishments.
Since 1976 a legacy of quality and perfection has flourished in a
family business, which is now known as Hospitality Mints. Mitchell
Minges started a candy making business in Boone, North Carolina.
Driven by the passion to succeed, Mitchell started his candy-making
business using copper kettles and marble slabs. His unique skills
for manufacturing soft mints developed while working a summer
job with a husband and wife team in Rockingham, North Carolina.
In addition to creating delicious mints, he introduced the idea of
individually wrapped pieces of candy with an imprinted logo and/
or special message. The idea was wildly successful and the business
thrived.
Forty years later, Hospitality Mints is the largest supplier of custom
mints in the USA. We manufacture over one billion mints every year
in our facility in Boone, North Carolina, employing 150 individuals. Our products are sold across all channels including restaurant
chains, grocery stores and specialty retailers.
Hospitality Mints signature offering is our buttermints, which are
creamy and laced with the finest peppermint oil. In addition, we
offer hard candies such as peppermint, cinnamon, spearmint, and
others. Because we have the unique ability to individually wrap our
product with personalized logos and marketing messages, we are
innovative and valuable to customers worldwide.

Terms & Conditions
Information Needed to Process Orders: We require all orders to be placed in writing. Please identify
yourself in the subject line and include order, artwork, purchase order number, billing & shipping addresses, contact person, phone, fax, email, ASI number and payment method.
Lead Time New Orders: Eight production days plus shipping, pending art approval and receipt of complete order.
Lead Time Reorders: Five production days plus shipping, pending receipt of complete order.Set-up
Charge: $60(V) per color, up to three colors, please specify PMS colors. If you use a tinted wrapper, that
counts as one of your colors.
Reorder Set-up: $15(V) per color
Wrappers: White, clear or tinted (minimums apply)/no charge. Metallic gold or metallic silver $10(V) per
case
Drop Ship Fee: $15(V) per additional location (Drop ships are multiple shipments on the same date to
more than one location).
Rush Service: $100(V) for new art, $60(V) for reorders.
Lead Time for Rush Orders: New art/six business days, reorders/four business days, plus shipping
Paper Proofs: One free proof plus one revision for new art. Additional revisions are $15(V) per change.
Please specify email address or fax number to send proof.
Repeat Proof Charge: $15(V)
Change Order Fee: $15(V) per change within an order, such as ink and wrapper colors, flavor change, address change, etc.
NOTE: We cannot make changes to orders that are in production. This includes changes in quantity,
ship method, ship date, address, and item or imprint. Additions to orders already in production require a
revised or new purchase order. Price changes may apply.
The following requires a five case minimum:
Two & three color imprints $60(V) set-up charge per color. If you wish to have a color flooded in the
background that will count as one of your three colors.
PMS match inks
PMS match may be up to two shades off. We cannot guarantee a perfect match.
Large Wrappers: An assortment of four different messages, up to three color imprint.
Small Wrappers: White or clear starlites and buttons only, an assortment of six different messages, up to
three color imprint.
Inactive Plates: Inactive plates are discarded after three years and a new plate must be ordered.
Method of Payment: Credit card or check. Prepayment is required for first time order either by check or
credit card. Large orders may require a 50% deposit.
Cancellation Policy: Once an order has been confirmed it may NOT be cancelled. Payment is expected on
all confirmed orders.
Return Policy: No returns are allowed without prior approval from Hospitality Mints. Orders should be
opened and inspected immediately upon arrival. Complaints must be made within five days of delivery.
