FOREWORD
The handbook on acronyms is back. It contains more terminologies in
response to growing list of words and phrases most commonly used at the
Department of Agrarian Reform and its coordinating agencies involved in
the CARPER implementation for the past 24 years.
It is also in response to the request of the DAR clientele and DAR partners to
have a ready reference as regards the meaning of the acronyms used in the
DAR documents, issuances, resource materials and other publications of
DAR.
Arranged alphabetically and sequentially, there are new acronyms that are
frequently encountered and used, including terminologies and names of
partner institutions, civil society groups, stakeholders and programs that have
evolved through the years.
Lastly, the Acronyms 2013 provides an updated, handy information material
that will benefit our beneficiaries, program stakeholders and the CARP
public we serve.
