McD’s Iced Tea Preparation Procedures

Use of White Gloves is
mandated in all steps
except step (6).
Evenly distribute the
tea in the McD® Tea
Bag and lay flat in the
Tea Brewing Basket.

Place the Tea Brew
Bucket on the Tea
Brewer Base and
press the start
button.

Place Tea Brew Basket
fully into the Tea
Brewer.

Pour 4 pounds (1 bag)
of sugar into the Tea
Brew Bucket.

Add 32 oz. of Hot water
drawn from the coffee
maker.

Stir with whisk to
completely dissolve the
sugar and make the
simple syrup solution.
Allow the Tea to
completely finish
brewing. Remember
to wait until ready
light turns on before
starting another
batch of tea.

Add enough ice to fill
the bucket to the 4
gallon fill line.

Stir until Ice is
completely
dissolved
(10)
Place lid on the Tea
bucket and mark with
the appropriate
holding time. Place
in the cooler
immediately.
To make Unsweetened Tea, do not add the sugar or hot water and follow
the rest of the brewing steps.
