Step #1 – Find Out What Cookies Cost
Find out how much one box of cookies cost. Using pretend money, put that amount together in bills
and coins. Now put that amount together so you can buy two boxes of cookies, three boxes, etc.
Step #2 – Learn About Different Kinds of Cookies
Lay out one box of each kind of cookies you are selling. Practice says the names of the cookies. Then
practice answering questions the customers might have:
What will you do with the money you earn?
What are the different cookies?
What is your favorite cookie?
Step #3 – Set A Sales Goal
Using a large piece of paper or poster board, draw a goal meter to help you see your goal. Put lines on
the picture that show the number of boxes sold. Every time you meet, color in the poster according
to your sales to see how close you are to reaching your goal.
