Reading List Specifics –
The following is a list of novels used for BOTH the summer reading assignment and the
senior term paper, but with slight variations depending on the class (AP Lit 12 or College
Prep English 12). To clarify: AP Lit 12 will use this list exclusively for senior term
papers as they have a separate summer reading assignment involving Beowulf.
English 12 will use this list for the summer reading assignment AND then again for
senior term papers. Bear in mind that you must read SEPARATE novels for the
summer reading assignment and the senior term paper. In other words, whatever book
you choose for your summer reading will not be an option for your senior term paper
during the school year.
