The news is full of reports of the highly flammable nature of the Hoverboard. In the last three months there were
over 50 reports of fires caused by the Hoverboard in the United States alone. The cost to the user and/or the
businesses involved was estimated to be near the $2 million mark.
Due to the catastrophic potential that these items present during transit and storage, Atlas World Group and all
subsidiaries will not accept them for transport. You should inform all customers and accounts that Hoverboards
should not be included with any shipment that you are selling, transporting or storing.
Effective immediately: Hoverboards are banned from all domestic and international shipments.
