European Climate Platform (ECP) An Initiative by MISTRA’s Climate Policy Research Programme (CLIPORE) and the Centre for European Policy Studies (CEPS) Side event programme Towards a climate change research agenda post Copenhagen Bonn, Saturday, 5 June 2010 (18h-19h30) Venue: Solar (Ministry of Environment) This side event addresses the broader post-Copenhagen issues with the aim to help the negotiation process based on research results. Existing research issues are identified, evaluated and introduced in the negotiations process. Another objective is to identify research gaps and a future research agenda. The side event is one in a series of on on-going series of seminars focusing on the interaction of research and negotiations. It will be followed by a half-day seminar on 8 June entitled “The emerging climate change research agenda post-Copenhagen: priorities, gaps and unknowns”.
