Namibia got its name after independence in 1990
and is derived from the Namib Desert.
Namibia’s flag is divided by a red band edged with a
white band on either side on the lower side of the red is
green and the upper side is blue with a yellow

Blue – represents the Namibian sky and the Atlantic
Ocean, the country’s precious water resources and rain
