The Mt. Hood Kiwanis Camp is delighted to be collaborating with the Tigard Kiwanis Club to bring you the 5th
Annual Fore the Kids Charity Golf Classic. We are excited to share that the 2017 tournament is being held on
Friday June 9, 2017 at the Reserve Vineyards and Golf Club. We hope you will consider partnering with Mt.

About Mt. Hood Kiwanis Camp
We empower children and adults with disabilities!
Mt. Hood Kiwanis Camp has provided more than 16,000 campers with the magic of camp. For over 80 years,
Mt. Hood Kiwanis Camp has partnered with the U.S. Forest Service to provide individuals with disabilities an
outstanding recreational opportunity in the Mt. Hood National Forest. Each summer our professional staff and
trained volunteers offer a unique opportunity to more than 500 campers with cognitive, developmental or
physical disabilities that include Autism, Down Syndrome, Traumatic Brain Injury, & Cerebral Palsy. Focusing
on campers’ abilities, Mt. Hood Kiwanis Camp programs allow participants to enjoy activities adapted to their
special needs — adventure courses, fishing, hiking, horseback rides, canoeing, arts and crafts, swimming,
dances, and river rafting. Thanks to these life-changing experiences our campers’ quality of life is greatly
improved!!
Accredited by the American Camping Association, Mt. Hood Kiwanis Camp has twice won the American
Camping Association’s Phyllis M. Ford Award for Creative and Effective Programming for recreational offerings
that accommodate campers with a variety of physical and developmental challenges.

The Reserve Vineyards and Golf Club
Every aspect of The Reserve revolves around creating an unmatched golf experience for people who love the
game - and appreciate the privileges, amenities, atmosphere and attention to detail expected at a high-caliber
golf club. The Reserve has been the proud host to some of golf's most prestigious events, including The Fred
Meyer Challenge (1998-2002), The PGA Champions Tour Major, The JELD-WEN Tradition (2003-2006), and the
Umpqua Bank Challenge (2012). Over 50 major championship winners, including Jack Nicklaus, Arnold Palmer,
Phil Mickelson, and Annika Sorenstam have walked The Reserve’s fairways.
The Fore the Kids Charity Golf Classic will be played on the Reserve’s South course designed by John
Fought, a former PGA Tour pro. This course follows a traditional American layout. It is a par 72, measuring 5,189
to 7,172 yards. This course boasts many highlights, the 6th hole in particular with 16 bunkers. Both the Fred
Meyer Challenge and JELD-WEN Tradition have been played on the South course.
