Thank you for booking the Magic Meadows Yurt!
If you chose the staffed option, your reservation includes trail passes. If you chose the
unstaffed option, your reservation does not include trail passes. Trail passes are required for
everyone in your party. Please note, the Yurt rental does not include equipment rental. You're
welcome to pick up passes and equipment earlier in the day at the Nordic Center in order to
take advantage of the 55 kilometers of trail we groom. If you have any questions after reading

The Nordic Center is located in town at 620 Second Street and the Yurt trailhead is located
about a mile and a half away on the Peanut Lake Road just north of town.
How to Get To the Yurt:
The Yurt is located in the center of the Magic Meadows trail system (trail maps are available at
the Nordic Center). Please park at the 2nd trailhead on the Peanut Lake Road. Nordic Trail #23,
Pooch’s Paradise, begins on the East (right) side of the road and heads north. All trail
junctions to the yurt have signage.
The ski trail is very gentle and takes a casual skier about 35 minutes to arrive at the yurt, and
about 45 minutes for the average snowshoer, so please plan accordingly. If you have never
cross country skied we highly recommend using snowshoes.
The staffed rental includes the following: required trail passes for all participants, snowmobile
support for supplies (out and back), trash removal, a warm, pre-heated yurt, use of dishes and
kitchen (service for 48 max), use of Sirius/XM radio, and one staff member to facilitate the
logistics and clean up. The Yurt rental does not include ski or snowshoe rentals. We can
suggest local caterers who have worked at the yurt if you would like your event catered. Live
music is also a great addition to a private event, we can provide contact information for this as
well.
Yurt Cancellation Policy
Rental fee is due at time of reservation. Cancellation of more than 30 days is fully refunded
minus a $50 administrative fee. Cancellations within 30 days of event are 50% refunded.
