Q: What are the DIRTcar Nationals on Tuesday, February 14th through Saturday, February 25th?
A. The 2017 DIRTcar Nationals is the 46th running of Volusia Speedway Park’s showcase event, a
twelve-night extravaganza of DIRTcar racing featuring each of the of nation’s four premier short-track
racing divisions: the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series and All Star Circuit of Champions Sprint Cars;
the World of Outlaws Late Models and DIRTcar Late Models; the DIRTcar UMP Modifieds; and the
mighty Super DIRTcar Series Big Block Modifieds. Each of the twelve nights is a doubleheader with a
complete show of heat races, last chance showdowns and A-Features for two divisions. Plus, the
DIRTcar Nationals Midway offers an enhanced experience with an incredible variety of food and
merchandise vendors from across the nation.
Q: When and where will the DIRTcar Nationals take place?
A. The 12 nights run February 14th through 25th at Volusia Speedway Park, just minutes West of
I-95 and Daytona and East of Barberville on State Road 40 in De Leon Springs. The physical address
of the speedway is: 1500 East State Road 40, De Leon Springs, FL 32130
Q: Where can I purchase DIRTcar Nationals tickets in advance?
A. Select your own seats in real time online at www.DIRTcarNationals.com. Tickets are available by
phone at the World Racing Group box office at (844) DIRTTIX.
Q: Can I buy my ticket the day of show?
A. Yes! Tickets will be sold throughout the entire 12 day event but the only way to guarantee your
preferred seat and section is by purchasing reserved seats in advance. You also save money when
purchasing your tickets in advance because reserved seat pricing is $3 more day of show.
Q: What sections are designated as reserved seating at Volusia Speedway Park?
Reserved seating offers the best and highest seats in the house. The top SIX rows in Section 5
through Section 15 are reserved. The start/finish line is located between Sections 13/14.

A. All seats below the top six rows of Sections 5 through Sections 15 plus any additional bleacher seats are
GA.
Q: If I purchase general admission tickets, am I allowed to save my seat prior to the start of the
night’s event? When can I enter Volusia Speedway Park to save my seat? How many days can I
save my seat for?
A. You are allowed to save your seat prior to the start of each night’s event. Gates to the facility open at noon
each day. Each night all saved seats will be removed from the bleachers.

Q: How much does it cost for a pit pass at Volusia Speedway Park?
A. Daily pit passes are $35 for DIRTcar members and $40 for non-members. Three day pit pass
packages are available. Package prices are $100 for DIRTcar members and $120 for non-members.
Dates of the packages are Feb 14-16, Feb 17-19, Feb 20-22 and Feb 23-25. These packages may be
purchased in advance at www.dirtcarnationals.com.

Q: What is the age limit for the pit area at Volusia Speedway Park?
A. There is no age limit for the pit area. Note that any person entering the pit area is no longer
considered a spectator but is now classified as a participant in the event. All participants that are under
the age of 18 must fully complete the “PARENTAL CONSENT, RELEASE AND WAIVER OF
LIABILITY, ASSUMPTION OF RISK, AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT/MINOR'S ASSUMPTION OF
RISK AND RELEASE AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY” form.

A: World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series, the premier winged 410 sprint car series in the world,
featuring world class drivers who compete more than 90 times a year across the United States and

A. The physical address for GPS directions is: 1500 E. State Road 40, De Leon Springs, FL, 32130.
If coming from I-95, use exit 268 and follow State Road 40 West for approximately 15 minutes and the
speedway will be on your right.
Q: Where is the

A. The main entrance to the grandstand area is located approximately in the center of the property. It
is in between the midway/vendor area and the speedway office. Access to all camping is located on
the west side of the property. Pit entrances are located at the Turns 1 and 4 areas of the Speedway.
Q: Where do I go for ticket orders left at “Will Call” at Volusia Speedway Park?
A. The Will Call window is located at the main entrance gate just east of the speedway office. A valid
photo ID will be required in order to pick up tickets.
Q: What radio station are the races broadcast on?
A. The races are broadcast on 88.1 FM.

Q: Where can I find accessible/handicap parking?
A. Accessible handicap parking is located outside of the main entrance to the grandstand area. A
valid state-issued handicap parking permit is required to park in this area.
Q: Can I bring my ATV?
A. Non-vehicular traffic throughout Volusia Speedway Park is limited to credentialed Golf Carts. ATVs
may be used by race teams and officials in the pit area only. Bicycles and walking are permitted. All
Golf Carts and ATVs require a permit ($30) that can be purchased at the main Pit Pass booth. A signed
waiver & release form is required.
Q: How much are parking & golf cart passes at Volusia Speedway Park for DIRTcar Nationals?
A. Daily general parking is free and Pit/Infield parking is $40 per week (six-day increments). Hauler
passes are free with entry. Golf Cart/ATV passes cost $30 for the entire 12-day event. Golf Cart/ATV
use is restricted to the pit and general camping areas.
Q: Is there camping available at Volusia Speedway Park?
A. We are offering General Camping at special rate of buy 5 days at regular price and get the 6 th day
FREE. General camping is still just $25 per night. Any camping questions can be answered by calling
the Volusia Speedway Park box office at (386) 985-4402. All camping spaces are dry (no hookups).

Q: How can I meet the drivers during DIRTcar Nationals?
A. Every adult ticket includes a FREE Fan Pit Pass that allows you entry into the pit area throughout
the evening. Once the grandstand gates open, you will enter the main entry gate and get your
ticket stubbed. Then you will go to the Fan Pit Pass redemption center, sign the waiver and get
your wristband for pit access. The Fan Pit Pass gate opens each day at 5:30 p.m.
Q: Will the pits be open after the races during DIRTcar Nationals?
A. Yes! The pit areas will be open following the feature events each night during the UNOH DIRTcar
Nationals to come meet your favorite driver at the completion of each night of racing. When possible,
the pit areas will be opened upon the completion of the night’s first A-Feature.
Q: Are there any ATM’s at Volusia Speedway Park?
A. Yes. An ATM is located under the main grandstand near the main Beer Concession.
Q: Are coolers permitted at Volusia Speedway Park?

A. Volusia Speedway Park allows small six-pack type coolers in the grandstands only. Alcohol is not
allowed to be brought into the grandstand or pit area per regulations. No glass containers are allowed
anywhere on the Volusia Speedway Park property.
Q: What do we do if we have an emergency?
A. Emergencies during an event should be reported to any security officer, or employee in “Staff” or
“Official” attire. If it is after hours or overnight, please call 911 for assistance.
Q: Where can I buy event souvenirs and merchandise for my favorite driver?
A. The midway and vendor row behind the grandstand and at their trailer after the races.
Q: Is there a “Lost and Found” dropoff and pickup location?
A. Lost and found items should be dropped off at the Volusia Speedway Park main office.
Q: Is the event broadcast online, radio or TV?
A. The events will be available online via the subscription-based DIRTVision, DIRT Radio Network
which are both available at www.DIRTVision.com.
Q: Will church services be held on Sunday morning?
A. The main grandstand area is available on Sunday, February 19 at 11 a.m. for church service.
Q: Who do I call if I have not received my tickets yet?
A. All tickets have been mailed unless you have requested they be held at the “Will Call” window. New
orders are processed daily. If you have not received your purchase, please call the World Racing

Q: Do drivers need to register for the event?
A. Yes, all drivers need to file an Official Entry Form and register for the event with the exception of
World of Outlaw Craftsman Sprint Car Series drivers and The World of outlaw Craftsman Late
Model Series drivers who may enter at track. Forms are available at www.DIRTcarNationals.com
and www.DIRTcarMembers.com. Additional driver information packets will be available closer to

Q: Does a driver have to be a DIRTcar member to race?

A. Yes, you have to be a DIRTcar Member to race. Membership applications are available at
www.DIRTcarMembers.com, Volusia Speedway Park and/or at any DIRTcar-sanctioned track.
Q: Can we have packages or items shipped to Volusia Speedway?
A. Items are received and stored at the main office. Please include your name and car number in the
contact/attention information. Please check in with the staff to sign for and receive your package.

Every race team hauler will be issued one “Hauler” permit at no charge. All other vehicles must

Q: When can concession, merchandise, and a souvenir vendor load-in?
A. The Fan Zone and Midway will be open for load-in beginning at 9 a.m. on Monday, February 13th
and will be secured that day at 5 p.m. For the remaining DIRTcar Nationals schedule, it will open daily
for vendors at 9 a.m., will close for vehicle load-in at noon and will be secured at 4:40 p.m. Sprint Car
vendors must exit Fan Zone, Midway and Parking Lots following their final event on Sunday to make
room for Late Model hauler and vendor load-in on Monday morning.
Q: What is the procedure for requesting promoter/official/speedway credentials?
A. The principal promoter and one guest of a 2017 DIRTcar or World of Outlaws-sanctioned speedway
should submit credential requests through their DIRTcar Regional Director or World of Outlaws
National Series Director via email no later than February 1, 2017.
Q: What is the procedure for requesting media credentials?
A. All media requests should be submitted online at www.DIRTcarMedia.com. Media members must
register upon their first visit, then can select to request credentials. Questions can be sent to Christina
Cordova at World Racing Group via e-mail at [email protected]. Credentials must be requested
no later than February 1, 2017.
