The website provided the names of each well-known animal and a brief description of them with good pictures. It gave the names and good descriptions of different kinds of plants people would find in the Galapagos. It is very interesting and has a lot of specifics about individual markets, however, it does not appear to be the most credible source, and does not provide sources for its own information. This is a link to an article written by published author, Darrin Duford. He recounts his adventure in Otavalo. He briefly writes about some historical aspects of the nomadic lifestyle of some of those living in Otavalo, but most of the article is an enjoyable read with vivid descriptions. The regular diet would include rice, potato, and meat. The majority of the traditional foods in Ecuador are served with some kind of meat, but they do make a lot of vegetarian dishes.
