From its inception, we were determined to recreate an atmosphere from the
1930s, back when Tarpon swam in herds off the Texas Gulf Coast.
We wanted to take our customers back to a time and place that their parents and grandparents
enjoyed. We set out on a journey from Port Isabel to New Orleans to find the finest photographs
that are still intact from that time period to adorn the walls of our Gulf Coast seafood house.
We also acquired a 25,000 lb. steel propeller as well as a 1939 Chris Craft wooden speed boat
both of which are on display in our restaurant for your enjoyment.

WHEN WE OPENED THE FIRST GOODE CO. BBQ ON KIRBY DRIVE,
near downtown Houston. With no restaurant experience and very little money,
we began to transform this 40-seat cafe into what we had dreamed a barbeque restaurant to be.
By our way of thinking, it was what Texas barbeque ought to be. From the beginning, we promised
ourselves to serve nothing but the best. The quality had to be right.

Since then we have opened five more restaurants and a Texas saloon, including our first seafood
restaurant in 1986 on Westpark, just around the corner from our original barbeque restaurant. Both
seafood restaurants offer the freshest seafood available from the Gulf Coast. Our seafood is prepared fresh
daily with the influences of the Texas, Louisiana and Mexican Gulf Coast. Whether it’s a parfait glass
of Campechana Extra or one our five different types of “shell oven-roasted” oysters or a Mesquite-grilled
Gulf red snapper filet, you can be assured that everything is expertly prepared and made fresh daily.
THE BOAT ROOM
The Boat Room offers a private dining facility to accommodate up to 65 people. Our
private pre-fix menus offer various prices per person to meet any budget. We offer grilled
chicken, steaks or vegan plates for guests who prefer non-seafood entrees. We also offer a
variety of hors d’oeuvres to choose from for a cocktail event or just simply to add to your
private function. The Boat Room is perfect for family or business dinners as well as holiday
or social events. Tables in our Boat Room may be arranged in various layouts to better
accommodate your event. We offer white linens on all tables and any floral arrangements

TERMS & CONDITIONS
Per person prices listed in our Private Dining Guide
menus do not include tax (8.25%) or a standard 20%
gratuity on food and beverage costs. Soft drinks, iced tea, bottled water, coffee, espresso, cappuccino, beer, wine and spirits are an additional charge.
The final guest count must be confirmed within 48 hours of the
event. Please communicate with Management any concerns with
regards to food or allergies. The minimum, excluding additional
event items, taxes and gratuity, still applies for the use of the room.
Deposits must be made to secure your reservation. All private
events require a 25% deposit of the estimated food cost. All
deposits become non-refundable 14 days prior to the event.
Deposits are made using the contract in the Private Dining Guide.
Parties of 8-19 in size may book without requirements; however,
we require parties of 20 or more choose one of our Private Dining
menu options.
You agree that if at any time during the course of your event, one
or more of your guests becomes incapable of driving safely due to
alcohol consumption, you will contact a Goode Co. Seafood staff
member and direct them to call a taxi to ensure their safety.
Any special request for any beverage, beer, wine or spirit
should be made no later than 7 days prior to the event.
Due to our Texas Alcohol Beverage Permit, we cannot allow guests to bring any wine, beer or spirits onto our premises.
Additional items for your event will be billed at the rate
quoted on the contract, for example, projectors or any additional vendor services.

Seafood located at 10211 Katy Freeway, Houston, Texas 77024. The deposit area of the contract authorizes Goode Co. Seafood to charge the credit card listed a 25% deposit of the estimated food cost outlined on the contract event details page.
Any damages made by a member of the host party to equipment or property belonging to Goode Co. Seafood will be the responsibility
of and billed to the host party.
Note: All private events are not confirmed until the agreement and deposit form has been completed and returned to Goode Co. Seafood.
For cancellations on the day of the event, the responsible party must pay the financial minimum and gratuity, as well as any fees incurred in the production of the event (rentals, floral, outside event items and/or services).
