Musical Balloon Pop

Rules of the game:
The children need to form a circle. This game is similar to
musical chairs, except no children are eliminated from the game.
The children will pass the balloons until the music stops.
The child who has the balloon when the music stops gets to pop
the balloon and can either try to answer the trivia question or
do the silly thing that is written on the card.
Materials Needed:
- 1 pack of round balloons
-
Idea cards
- Music
Step 1: Write/print idea cards with trivia and silly things
(see back page)
Step 2: Fill balloons with idea cards and inflate.
Step 3: Store balloons in black garbage bag.
TIP: To give the balloons more flare, you can put a little confetti
into the balloon before you inflate it.

TIP: Some parents give tickets to the children for playing the
games. Tickets could be placed inside the balloons and given to
the child.
The balloons could also be filled with half tickets and half idea
cards
IDEA CARDS:
-Finish this song:
“(insert popular kids song
lyrics)”
-Name 3 States in America
-Pretend to eat a hamburger
really fast!
-make the sound your favorite
animal makes and have people
try to guess the animal
-jump up and down 5 times
-try to say
“sally sells sea shells by the
sea shore”
-try to clap your hands behind
your back

-name your three favorite fruits
-clap your hands as fast as you
can!
-Name 8 things that are red
-try to say
“how much wood could a woodchuck

-give everyone a high five!
