RARE COIN AND CURRENCY AUCTION
MARCH 25, 2016 | MANCHESTER, NEW HAMPSHIRE
Bid online at: www.mintproductsauctions.com | 3
It’s our one year anniversary!
Though it doesn’t seem possible, it has been a year since MintProducts Auctions Inaugural sale. In our
first year, we’ve sold thousands of lots ranging from $5.00 to $20,700.00. On top of having a diverse selection, we have had a big online presence. Our first five auctions (including our December internet only
auction) received over 23,000 online bids. Thank you all for participating!
We’re happy to hold our second auction in conjunction with the New Hampshire Coin & Currency Expo.
We were the first company to hold an auction during a New England coin show in 20 years, which was
indeed long overdue! I hope you can attend some or all of the three days of the expo as well as our auction. I
think you’ll find it will be time well spent.
Now on to the current sale - our first Auction of 2016 includes 525+ interesting lots with hundreds offered
without reserve. I could easily go on for a couple of paragraphs about the highlights in this auction, but with
space limitations I’ll just suggest that you give the following pages careful scrutiny. If you do I’ll bet you
will find some things you like!

Removed. The coin is mostly Brilliant

side of Liberty’s base. Just 725 were
minted. Est. $1,250 - $1,500.

NGC Certified AU Details Obverse
Graffiti. The “graffiti” is in the obverse

as much of a love token as a coin with
“graffiti.” Est. $300 - $350.

die crack across Liberty’s cheek and
because of the break, the die wasn’t
in use very long, making this variety
very rare. The “Scarface” is so rare
that it is considered by many to be the
King of Morgan Dollar varieties! Est.

Estimates
One of the many things that sets MPA apart from others is our lot estimates. We give a market
based range of what we expect each lot to bring. It’s important to keep in mind that the estimate
ranges given are just that - estimates. While we feel if you bid in the range given, your chance of
success is excellent, there will be some cases that it will take a higher bid and some instances
you might get a lot at a lower bid.
Our estimates are there to help you make informed bids. We don’t purposely list low estimates
so we can say later that lots brought more than expected and we don’t inflate them in hopes of
luring someone into paying too much. We have seen both these practices in use at other auctions
and feel in the long run accuracy is best for both buyers and sellers.
