BASIC USE
Get Started

Go to the Apple App Store, and search for ‘AstraChat’ to find
the app.
Download, install, and run the application.

Click "Setup Account“. Choose the
account type that you want to connect
to (Facebook chat, Gtalk or your
Jabber accounts).
Complete the account information
such as username, password,
host/server etc.
Click “Login” and wait until the
process is complete.

Setup Profile
Your profile is where your friends can find
out your basic info. Set a profile picture that
will help friends recognize you
How to Setup your Profile :

Click the “Avatar” in the top corner to
select/change your profile picture.
Choose an existing picture or take photo
using the device camera. Then select it as
your profile picture.
Type your personal message and click
"Save".
Or
You can edit your profile at any time. Choose
Profile from the Setting menu: Setting >
Profile > Tap Avatar to edit

Choose one of your friends or type your friend's name into the search box to find them on your friends list.
Type your message in the text box and tap ‘send’ to send the message.
Find “Emoji” under your default keyboard. Tap in a text field, then tap ☺ icon. If you have multiple keyboards
turned on, touch and hold the “globe” icon, then select Emoji.

Click on the “+” icon on the top of Contacts list.
Choose “Create New Group”
Enter a name for the group > tap “Add Contact” > choose friend > Tap “Add”
Tap “Create” on the right top corner. Your group chat will displayed on your contact list

Click on the “+” icon on the active chat screen then choose “Send Picture”.
If you previously took a photo with your iPhone, tap ”Choose Existing”. Or
You can take a new picture using the camera by choosing “Take Photo”.

Privacy Setting
AstraChat is focused on your privacy and puts all of the control into your hands.
o Delete Friend
You can choose to delete people at anytime and remove them from your contact list.
o Block Friend
Use Block Friend if you don’t want to receive messages from, or broadcast your presence to a particular friend.
You can “Unblock” them anytime you want.

VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) Calls
There are two ways to start a VoIP call with AstraChat.
1. From the contact list:
Call your friends from inside AstraChat; swipe to the right on
a contact you want to call or
2. From an active chat:
Tap the “+” symbol > Choose “Call”
