Our container design and materials projects have resulted in the
development of bottles with unique properties for specific applications.
A few of the particular issues which have been solved and for which
containers can be supplied include:
Prototype Containers

Barrier-layer bottles for packaging aromatic hydrocarbon
solvents as a replacement for glass and fluorinated bottles.
Currently available as a 5-layer coextrusion container, an inner
polyamide layer allows for the packaging of such solvents
as xylene, dipentene, limonene and benzene in compliance
with 49 CFR, Chapter 1, Part 173, Appendix B, Permeation &
Compatibility.
Extremely low particulate and ionic extractable results are
provided with PPQ resin single-layer bottles. Suggested
applications include parts-per-quadrillion chemicals and
photoresist. Additional benefits include resistance to oxidation
discoloration of the bottle and sustained clarity of packaged
solutions containing nitric acid. Available in 4-liter round with
38-439 neck finish and 2.5-liter square with 45mm, tamperevident, closure.
On-site Blow Molding
In line with our strategy to be recognized as an innovative supplier
of blow molded container solutions to the microelectronics and
chemical processing industries Purepak Technology offers an
on-site container production program for high volume container
customers. In conjunction with our partners we are able to blow
mold containers at your site providing lower costs, higher quality

4 Liter Pedaloid Bottle 200 gram
4 Liter Pedaloid Bottles are manufactured with Food-Safe High Density Polyethylene resin and are used in a wide variety of
applications including Electronic Chemicals, Specialty Chemical and General Chemical Industries. This package is designed for high
purity applications where particle contamination requirements are stringent. The “Footed” feature of this bottle makes it suitable for
packaging high vapor pressure chemicals. The UN Certified 4G/Y33.2/S package is used for packaging acid, alkaline and solvent
hazardous chemicals having a specific gravity of 1.9 or less. Standard color is natural. Standard neck finish is 38/439 and product is
available with a standard lined polypropylene cap or a dust cover. Standard pack is 50 bottles per bulk bag or 4x1 UN carton.

and Specialty Chemicals. This package is designed for high purity applications requiring low particulation and low extractable
contaminants. The bottle maintains its integrity and does not discolor when used to package nitric acid containing solutions and the
liquid remains crystal clear. The bottle is certified at 300 kPa which enables many chemicals to be air transport compliant. The UN
Certified 4G/Y28.8/S package is used for packaging acids, alkalines, anhydrous etchants and solvent hazardous chemicals having a
specific gravity of 1.9 or less. Standard color is natural. Standard neck finish is 45mm and is capped with a polypropylene Menshen
tamper evident threaded closure containing a friction fit Teflon liner. Standard pack is 6x2.5 liter UN carton. A DOT exemption for use
of this package with 70% nitric acid is pending.
