Exhibitor Opportunity
The Saskatchewan Mathematics Teachers’ Society, the Saskatchewan Educational Leadership Unit and the
Saskatchewan Professional Development Unit are partnering to co-ordinate a province-wide conference to
explore and exchange ideas and practices about the teaching and learning of mathematics. The Saskatchewan
Understands Math conference will bring together international and local facilitators to work in meaningful ways
with participants in a variety of formats. Our keynote speaker is Steve Leinwand. Steve is one of the principal authors
of Principles to Actions Ensuring Mathematical Success for All, and has authored numerous other books, textbooks
and articles. Currently, Steve is a principal research analyst at AIR and has over 35 years of leadership experience in
mathematics education. Steve’s experience spans all sectors of mathematics education from supporting classroom
teachers to implementing and overseeing wide scale reforms at the state and national level. In addition, experts
from across North America will be presenting featured presentations and concurrent sessions.
We look forward to a wide audience of K-12 teachers, coaches, consultants, administrators and division leader from
across the province. This conference is an opportunity to promote your company and connect with participants.
The Saskatchewan Understands Math conference provides a prime opportunity for exhibitors to promote their
products and services to the learning sector in Saskatchewan. Exhibitor opportunities encompass a number
of different categories with corresponding benefits to your organization. The attached information outlines
the different options available and the ways in which the Saskatchewan Understands Math 2017 Conference
Committee will acknowledge your contribution.
