Nasopharyngeal Airway
• Made from medical class PVC
• Used as an adjunct by inserting through one nostril to maintain an open on
patients that are unable to protect their own airway due to a depressed lever of
consciousness.
• Used by emergency when it’s impossible or non-advisory to use an
Oropharyngeal airway.
