New Action Bracelets Makes Memory Making Easy, Fun
Wilderness at the Smokies resort debuts photo-taking bracelets
Vacations and getaways are about making memories, and at the Wilderness at the Smokies,
Tennessee’s largest indoor and outdoor waterpark resort in Sevierville, Tenn., that just got easier.
The resort just introduced Action Bracelets, a state-of-the-art photo capturing system that sends
pictures directly to the cell phone of the Wilderness at the Smokies' guest who has purchased the
bracelet.
The Action Bracelet process is easy: the bracelet is purchased for $17.99 and takes photos for
the guest for up to 10 days. The guest activates the Action Bracelet via his/her cell phone, then locates
the designated Photo Opp scanners in Wilderness at the Smokies' Wild Waterdome indoor waterpark,
Lake Wilderness outdoor waterpark and the Adventure Forest family entertainment center. The final
step is for guests wearing the Action Bracelet to smile for the camera on the designated attractions and
rides, and the photos are delivered directly to the guest's cell phone in seconds. The photos can then be
shared with family and friends via social media - for vacation memories that are immediate and longlasting. The Action Bracelet also means Wilderness at the Smokies' guests don't have to worry about
carrying a camera around or protecting a personal camera from water, and there are no lines to stand in
waiting for photos to develop.
"Wilderness at the Smokies always looks for ways to make our resort guests' experience the
most memorable it can be," said Steve Cruz, the resort's general manager. "The Action Bracelet system
is such an easy and affordable way for folks to make lasting photo memories of their vacation and share
with others who weren't able to make the trip with them. And they can relive their vacation memories
over and over with the photos that are on their phones."
