Cumbria County Council Cumbria Anti-Poverty Strategy – Online Questionnaire In 2014 the Council is planning to publish its AntiPoverty Strategy (2014-17). This will describe how the council plans to promote health and wellbeing and tackle poverty by supporting people facing financial challenges through a range of services. This questionnaire poses a number of questions to help ensure the focus of the strategy is right; and it seeks views about how best the council can work with partners to tackle issues relating to poverty. The responses to the questionnaire, along with feedback from other consultation and engagement activity, will be used to shape the final strategy and plans for delivery. Our response to the consultation and engagement on the Anti Poverty Strategy will be published along with the final strategy in April 2014 Our draft Anti-Poverty Framework describes what we intend the strategy to focus on and how we intend to tackle poverty.
