Poster Presentation Guidelines Both the production of the posters and associated costs are the responsibility of the presenters. Students are responsible for bringing copies of their final reports/presentations as a handout as well as essentials should your project require additional materials (we will provide push-pins, tape, pens, etc…). Never made a research poster/presentation before? Get helpful design tips here: http://www.ncsu.edu/project/posters/. The following presentation options are available to students: 1. Poster PresentationThe panel space available for the posters is 66” in height and 30” in width. Push pins are used to hold the posters up on the panel/drapery; therefore, students must use plain poster paper (laminated or plain) that fit the designated dimensions. * Students cannot use more than one panel and posters cannot be foam board or trifold. 2. Easel PresentationStudents must use a sturdy/firm board (also known as foam board) which is lightweight yet strong enough to stand alone on an easel. The dimensions do not matter. Tables are provided upon request. 3. Table Top PresentationYou will be using a tri fold/z fold sturdy board display. You are provided with a 6 ft. rectangular table. Feel free to bring in props and/or handouts related to your research. 4. PowerPoint PresentationYou will need to bring your own lap top and charger (if you do not own a lap top, you may rent one from the Library). You are provided with a 6 ft. rectangular table. You are encouraged to print out your PPT slides and provide them as handouts as well as bring any other props related to your research. Please note that we will not be able to provide you with any extra tables (unless you contact me directly).
