Detailed Specifications for Modular Workstations
No. of Workstations : 6
Size of the workstations : Six workstations of size 4200mm x 2850mm. A schematic of the
proposed partition is enclosed as Annexure II.
Partition height : 1650mm
Partition: 75mm thick Modular Partition made out of 16 SWG MS finished with Powder Coating
thickness up to 60 Microns. Partition edges to be finished with Powder Coated Aluminum Trims.
Partition to be designed so that (Tile Based Insert System) partition height can be increased or
decreased in a modular fashion. Frames should be supplied with sturdy levelers in the bottom
skirting.
Finishes:
Above the table top [Inside] – 20 SWG MS tiles finished with Powder Coating thickness up to 60
Microns and 1 Tile is Pre la minated Writing Board (upto 1500mm height). Above 1500mm –
Glass tiles
Below the table top [Inside] – Pre-laminated Tile finished with PVC lipping to give good finish to
the product and also to ensure moisture away.
Above the table top Level [Outside] – Fabric Cladded PLB Tile.
Below the table top Level [Outside] – 20 SWG MS tiles finished with Powder Coating thickness
up to 60 Microns.
The tiles should be inserted in a pre-defined grove to ensure stable fixing of tile in to the frame.
Delicate components like clips or hooks should be avoided in tile fixing process.
The system
should have zero gaps in tile and frame fixing.
Electrical Duct:
2 Level raceways should be provided to the entire stretch of workstation partition to facilitate
current as well as future switch / data point requirement.
Raceways to be fixed without using delicate components like screws and hinges.
Necessary slots to be provided to route the data and electrical cables with separation for better
cable management.
Table top:
25 mm thick table tops should be provided with 2 mm lipping all around for better finish and
durability. The top surface of tabletop shall be at a height of 750mm from ground. A pullout
keyboard tray and a CPU trolley should be provided for each workstation.
Pede stal and Storages:
Two drawer units to be provided for each workstation. Body made of Pre- laminated PLB and Meta
box drawer – 2 for Stationer and 1 for Flat File mounted of smooth drawer slide. Central locking
system for the three draws. Storage doors to be mounted on spring loaded self closing hinges. 3
Keys to be provided for the Storage Lock. The size of the drawer unit shall be 450mm (D) x
450mm (W) x 675mm (H). All the drawer units shall be mounted on castor wheels with brakes.
The modular workstations should be able to provide high degree of flexibility and should allow
reconfiguration in modules. It also should permit easy access to wiring and permit repairs and
maintenance without major disturbances.
All components of the modular workstations shall be made with highly accurate machinery and
highly skilled workmen to allow interchangeability. The finish should be uniform and consistent to
provide an elegant look and congruent with the environment of the office.
All hardware used shall be as per Indian / International standards and suitably treated or plated for
corrosion protection.
Colour / pattern of the laminates, tiles, drawer units, storage etc. will be approved by C-MMACS.
Additional Terms and Conditions
1. C-MMACS will provide the details of schedule for installation
2. The supplier shall provide 3 sets of detailed ‘as done drawing’ of the workstations
3. Supplier shall provide guarantee for a period of one year from the date of commissioning.
Preventive maintenance should be carried out during the guarantee period. Suppler shall
replace free of cost all defective components failing during the guarantee period.
Components found defective due to deficiency in design, material or workmanship etc.
shall be replaced with new ones and such replacements will carry a guarantee for a further
period of one year from the date of replacement.
4. Supplier shall provide details of preventive maintenance measures to be taken after the
guarantee period.
5. Supplier shall co-ordinate with C-MMACS during the installation of Electrical, Telephone
and Network wiring.
6. Alterations if any during the installation shall be carried out as agreed by C-MMACS and
the supplier.
7. Additional cost / reduction in cost due to the modifications shall be as agreed by CMMACS and the supplier.
8. Inspection of the goods shall be carried out for the quality of the frames, tabletops, storage
units etc. at C-MMACS.
