used uniform sale
Preparing to sell uniform items for all grade levels:
1. Clothes must be in very good condition (no rips, stains, broken zippers, etc.). We will not sell plaid, sweaters with
gold logo, white shirts, socks, or accessories such as hair bows. We will sell all other items including sweaters and
fleece with white logos, as well as blue and khaki skirts, shorts, and pants. Unsuitable clothing will be donated locally
and not returned to the family.
2. Wash the garments and tag the clothing with gender and size of garment and your name. Tag must be securely
fastened with safety pins (no straight pins, please!); proceeds of un-labeled clothing will be donated to the school.
3. The new school uniform guidelines will be available for you to consult on the day of the sale.
4. If you prefer to donate your uniform items, please write ”Bear Creek” on the tag in the Name blank and proceeds will
go to the school. Please do not donate any white items.
Drop Off Used Uniform Items
Tuesday, June 9, Wednesday, June 10, Tuesday, June 16,
Wednesday, June 17, Thursday, June 25, or Friday, June 26
Drop off your tagged uniform items under the stairs at
Redmond Campus. Please put all items in closed grocery
bags labeled with your name. Clothing will not be accepted
on the day of the sale.

Volunteers Shop Before Sale Starts
Volunteers are needed August 5 at 10:30 a.m. to help set up
the sale and throughout the day to help with sales and clean
up. Please contact Charlene (425-785-9074).
Proceeds
Earnings will be deposited into your lunch account. If you are
leaving the school, we will arrange to send a check.
Pricing
$5 (shorts, some pants), $10 (pants/slacks, capris, skorts,
sweatshirts), $15 (sweaters, cardigans, vests, fleece with
white logo)
Unsold Clothing
Any unsold clothing must be picked up before 6:00 p.m. on
Wednesday, August 5. You may start collecting your unsold items
at 5:00 p.m., as the sale starts to wind down. Clothing left after
6:00 p.m. on August 5 will be donated to the school or to charity.
Donate Your Old Plaid
On August 5, DENNIS School Uniforms will collect old Macbeth
and Sequoia plaid uniform items for donation to charity partners
throughout the Pacific Northwest.

Used Uniform Sale
Clothing Label Instructions
To simplify preparation for the Used Uniform Sale and to help parents find the uniform items they need at the
sale, we have switched to using labels as sales tags. See the link on the PTF tab on the Parent Page or
search for “labels” from any page. The labels are formatted for standard Avery 5160. You can also print the
labels on paper (or pick some up in the main office) and staple them or safety pin them to the clothing.
Please no straight pins!
1) Indicate if the garment is Youth (a “unisex” item such as cardigans, fleece jackets, sweatshirts, etc.) or
Boys or Girls or is a Junior size. For items such as blue pants or walk shorts, it can be difficult to
distinguish between boys or girls styles.
2) Indicate the Size of the garment on the label. This is will help our buyers to find the sizes they need fast.
3) Make sure your First and Last Name is on the label. We will use your name to keep track of your
earnings. If you want to donate the earnings from your clothing sales to the school, please write “Bear
Creek” in the name blank. These monies will be donated to the school.
4) We will use set pricing for clothing this year, so please do not price your items. Please see the flyer for
additional information.

Reminder: If you wish to retrieve any unsold clothing, you must pick up clothing as the sale is winding down
between 5:00 p.m. - 6:00p.m. on August 5.
