Iroquois were one of the most powerful tribe in the Eastern Woodlands. Iroquois were the most powerful tribe in the Eastern Woodlands because they made up all of the rules for all of the tribes in the Eastern Woodlands area. The Iroquois were one of the most peaceful tribes, but when the Europeans arrived, it was a disaster. There were so many wars in that time that they had to sign many treaties.
The Wars
The wars in the Eastern Woodlands were very bad because it drove other tribes into the western prairie. In 1649, the Iroquois League (or Federacy) destroyed the Huron.

The Weapons
The Iroquois would have a collection of weapons. The weapons that the Iroquois had were bow and arrow, war club, spear, blowgun, rock axe, knives, and stone clubs. The Iroquois used bow and arrows and if they shot and if the animal is not killed, the Iroquois would use a war club. [2]
