Non-Profit Holiday Card Initiative
Picaboo has launched a new initiative as part of our broader Non-Profit Program
(www.picaboo.com/non-profit/) in the second half of 2016. We are looking for non-profit organizations
interested in collaborating with us on a custom holiday card that would feature your organization. The
initiative is aimed at achieving two important goals: 1) providing your organization with a fundraising
opportunity capable of raising thousands of dollars, and 2) providing increased exposure for your
organization among communities you currently reach as well communities you might not otherwise
reach.
How Does It Work?
The non-profit holiday card initiative is very simple. The bullets below explain the initiative as we’ve
conceptualized it. However, we are eager to collect feedback from our non-profit partners.
1. Picaboo works with your organization to develop a custom 5”x7” flat holiday card that will be
unique to your organization (see our current card offering here: www.picaboo.com/cards/)
a. One side of the flat card will be customizable by your supporters with their family
photos and holiday greeting text typical of a holiday card.
b. The other side of the flat card will be designed by your organization with help from
Picaboo. This side will include images, content and copy that describes your
organization, its mission and good works.
2. Your organization will promote your holiday card among your community of supporters. Picaboo
will provide a unique link that will bring your users directly to your organization’s holiday card at
picaboo.com.
3. Your supporters create an account and customize the card with their own family images and
holiday greeting text using Picaboo’s online card editor. Then, they order as many cards they
desire using a 50% off coupon code you will likewise promote with the link.
4. The holiday cards are shipped direct by Picaboo to each of your supporters who place an order.
Your supporters in turn send their cards to all friends, family and colleagues on their holiday
card list.
5. Your organization will receive fifty percent (50%) of the revenue generated from the sale of your
organization’s holiday card. Picaboo will issue a check to your organization in early January 2017
based on the sales generated by your organization’s holiday card.

Additional enthusiasm among your supporters since you are helping them send a very
distinctive and unique holiday card that will surely stand out from the rest. They in turn are
helping you raise the funds you need to fulfill your mission, so they can feel good about using
their holiday card to send well wishes to friends and family while also supporting a great cause.
The digital print on-demand solution offered by Picaboo eliminates logistics work that would be
required by your marketing department and eliminates the risk of ordering cards that may not
be sold.
Sample Calculation | Impressions and Funds Raised
500 supporters order your holiday card (this will depend on your promotional efforts and your
organization’s total number of supporters and community members).
60 cards per order (this is based on historical Picaboo data).
30,000 cards ordered (500 x 60). When these cards are distributed that is also the minimum number
of impressions your organization will make on those individuals who receive the cards. Family and
friends often look through other’s cards, which will lead to still more impressions.
$50 spent on holiday cards per supporter order (this is based on historical Picaboo data). This is the
amount typically spent by Picaboo customers after the deduction associated with any promotional
discounts or pre-paid vouchers. Your supporters will be able to redeem any promotional coupon codes
or pre-paid vouchers they find on our site, coupon sites, Groupon or elsewhere. Picaboo can also
provide your organization with a 50% off coupon code you can promote directly to your community.
50% of your supporter’s card sales go to your organization.
$12,500 in total raised for your organization (500 x $50 x 50%)

What Are The Next Steps?
Picaboo will only be able to work with a limited number of non-profits this year. Therefore, if your
