LAUNCHING A NEW ULTRAMARINE BLUE RANGE
NUBIPERF: Maximizing performance & competitive advantage
Nubiola has witnessed the consolidation of the Nubix range on the market, which represents a significant
improvement of the conventional qualities of dispersion, absence of free sulfur and low levels of moisture.
Nubiola is launching the new NUBIPERF range, which is the choice for
greater competitiveness and improved performance as the demand for
faster processes and efficient. The NUBIPERF range allows improving
productivity up to 25% over conventional blue qualities, according to the
pilot tests carried out in our laboratories.
NUBIPERF is specially intended for moisture sensitive polymers such as
ABS, PET, and PC, as well as for high percentages of pigmentation in the
production of masterbatch (60-70%).
The inherent advantages of Ultramarine Blue in plastics are heightened
by the notable presentations of the new range. NUBIPERF improves the
efficiency in feeding the pigment in the extrusion processes. Odors are
not perceived in the process, due to the absence of free sulfur and of
the low level of moisture. The narrow tolerances of its specifications
guarantee consistency, with a minimal variation between lots.

NUBIPERF is characterized for its lack of
oversized particles, which guarantees excellent
dispersion in the masterbatch. This produces
a minor obstruction of the sieves and
consequently a decrease of nonproductive
time for cleaning and changing. Its uniform
particle size distribution allows a minor
pressure in the compress of the extruders,
enabling a higher capacity of production.

Rompaint is the major scientific event for the paintings
and varnish market in Romania.
The conferences, with the following slogan: " The
World of colors in paint ", included two sections: Raw
Materials and Technologies, and the Management of
Color.
Comparing to the second Rompaint edition, we have
appreciated more interest from foreign suppliers of
raw materials than from national producers of paints,
a result of the current economic conjuncture.
Although Romania is a small market where price is
the most important factor, we are reinforcing our
position there in order to make Romania an important
platform for the new markets of Eastern Europe.

NPE is the world’s largest plastics and elastomers show, with more than 2.000 exhibitors. Attendance, at 63.238, was down this
year by 30% from the last show in 2000, with many companies sending fewer representatives. However, we had a successful show,
enhancing customer awareness and picking up many strong leads for future business. This was a great opportunity to introduce
Nubiperf and create interest in the new product.
