♥ Ten Commandments
Jesus said, “Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul,
and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like
unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. On these two commandments hang all
the law and the prophets.” Matthew 22:36-40

Obeying the Ten Commandments won’t get you into heaven. Their purpose is
to show you what sin is.
I would not have known what sin was except through the law. Romans 7:7

♥ Questions:
Have you ever told a lie?
Have you ever used God’s name in vain?
Have you honored your parents?
Have you ever stolen anything?
The Bible tells us that if we broke just one of the commandments then we are guilty of
breaking them all and have sinned against God.
For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of
all. James 2:10
♥ We Are All Sinners And Need God’s Forgiveness:
For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God. Romans 3:23
For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ
our Lord. Romans 6:23
♥ God’s Promise To You:
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us
from all unrighteousness. 1 john 1:9
Do you want to ask God to forgive all of your past sins?
Do you want a new start in life?
Do you want to go to heaven when you die?
Pray to God. Tell him that you are a sinner. Tell him that you believe that Jesus died on
the cross to pay the debt of your sins. Ask him to forgive all of your sins and give you
a new start. Pray today.
♥ Did You Know That...
...in the Old Testament, sinners would sacrifice animals when asking God for forgiveness. (Exodus 12:11-13, Leviticus 4:35)
...in the New Testament, God sent Jesus to be the sacrifice for your sins. That is why
he is called the “Lamb of God.” (John 1:29)
