Congratulations, you are the proud owner of the VinPodium, a rapid wine and Champagne chiller from Revolutionary Cooling Systems
(RCS). The VinPodium is fun, safe, and easy to use!
Thank you again for your purchase and be on the look out for other RCS products at www.CooperCooler.com and
www.VinPodium.com.
The VinPodium is safe for chilling wines and Champagne/sparkling wines. Rapid chilling has no effect on the wine or
Champagne/sparkling wine’s properties.
PLEASE READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING YOUR VINPODIUM.
1. Before using any electrical appliance, basic safety precautions should be followed to prevent or reduce the risk of electric shock, fire, and/or injury.
2. Do not let children use the VinPodium without adult supervision. Store your VinPodium out of the reach of children.
Now that you are ready to use your VinPodium, please follow these simple instructions to rapidly chill your
bottle in minutes.
3. To prevent electric shock, do not immerse the cord, plug, or VinPodium in water or other liquids.
1. Place the unit on a clean, dry, level surface and pour 2 cups of cold water (500ml) into the ice and water bin.
4. Check voltage to be sure that the voltage indicated on the name plate agrees with your voltage and only use with the provided wall plug. DO NOT
USE another manufacturer’s plug as this may damage the unit and cause your unit to malfunction which may lead to bodily harm. This will also void
the unit’s warranty.
2. Add approximately 12 to 14 standard ice cubes into the ice and water bin.
5. Unplug your VinPodium when not in use and before cleaning, adding water or ice, or emptying water.
6. Do not use your VinPodium if the electrical cord or plug is damaged, or after the unit malfunctions or is dropped or damaged in
any manner.
7. Only use the VinPodium with the power supply that originally came with your unit. Use of any other type of plug may cause damage to
your unit.
8. In the United States, contact our Customer Care at [email protected] for repairs or servicing or call us Monday – Friday 845-229-4101
10am – 5:30pm Eastern time.
9. To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not attempt to disassemble your VinPodium as it does not contain any user-serviceable parts.
3. Lift the adjustable water jet neck to the top most position to make it easier to insert your bottle into the unit.
4. Place the bottom or the punt of the bottle onto the round bottle support base inside the unit. Place the
bottle so that it is centered as much as possible and the bottle is not touching the rim of the ice and water
bin—this is more of an issue with larger 1.5 L bottles.
5. Adjust the water jet neck up or down so it is close to the bottle but not touching it.
6. Plug the power adapter into the back of the unit and then into an appropriate outlet.
11. Operate your VinPodium on a clean, dry, and level surface.
7. Set your chill time on the digital timer. The timer is automatically set at 10 minutes. Use the top button (+)
to increase the minutes and the bottom button (-) to decrease the minutes. Use the wine chilling chart as a
general guide for how long to chill your wine for based on the type of wine it is.
12. Keep your VinPodium away from any hot appliances or surfaces.
10. To reduce the risk of injury, do not let the cord hang over the edge of a table or counter or touch hot surfaces.
13. Do not attempt to move your VinPodium while it is in operation or still plugged in. To move your VinPodium safely, unplug the unit, make
sure the unit does not contain a beverage and that all ice and water has been poured out of the unit. Only then can you safely move your
VinPodium. Please pay attention not to drop your VinPodium and to where the cord is to prevent tripping over it.
14. Only use your VinPodium for its intended purpose. When not in use, unplug your VinPodium, pour out the ice/water bath, and allow
to air dry.
15. Do not clean your VinPodium with scouring powders or pads that may damage the unit's surface. Use only mild soap and water and
allow to air dry.
16. Your VinPodium is designed for household use only. Any servicing other than cleaning and user maintenance should be done only by
authorized Revolutionary Cooling Systems (RCS) personnel.
