BRIEF BIO-DATA OF THE AUTHOR
Shameem Ahmad Lone was bom in Kashmir on March 15, 1967. He got his B.E. degree
in Electrical Engineering from REC Srinagar Kashmir (now NIT Srinagar) in Dec, 1989.
He received his M. E. Degree in Electrical Engineering with Hon’s from University of
Roorkee, (now IIT Roorkee) in Jan, 1998. He is presently working for his Ph.D. degree at
NIT Srinagar (formerly REC Srinagar).
His fields of interest are wind Power Generation, Power system Dynamics and
intelligent control.
