Edgbaston Park Road
During the program of work the point at which
Edgbaston Park Road joins Bristol Road will be
subject to traffic and pedestrian management as
the road is widened. Pedestrians will be diverted
through the Gun Barrels pub car park. On occasion
this junction will have to be closed, signed diversions
will be in place and access to the main campus,
Barber Institute and Business School maintained
via this diversion.
Vincent Drive
Due to the opening of part of the Selly Oak New
Road, to access the new Queen Elizabeth Hospital,
Vincent Drive will be closed to traffic from 16 June.
This is a permanent downgrading of the road. Access
to the University will be unaffected as this is a switch
for vehicles to use the Selly Oak New Road rather
than Vincent Drive.
