A Little Girl Named Bonnie and Her Puppies
The story takes place in a barn by the sows in Two Creeks, Wisconsin.
The season is fall in late October, It is cool outside.
A little, smiling girl named Bonnie is in the barn separating the animals.
Three of the animals are males and the other three are females.
In the barn there are also horses, cows and pigs
It is not always smelly in the there but when it does smell, it smells like manure.
Bonnie, with a hat that has eyes, nose and mouth, is home alone.
Her parents have left her to go shopping.
Bonnie is sad when she has to leave her animals. Her parents are in the house.
Her father, a farmer, enjoys eating piglets that her mother prepares for him.
As Bonnie leaves the barn, she gets pecked in the butt by a wild duck.
