As the Universal Periodic Review enters its third cycle, The ICPD Geneva Network is proud to initiate a series of
side events showcasing State efforts to advance Sustainable Developments Goals and the ICPD agenda through
the implementation and follow-up of UPR recommendations in collaboration with national and international
stakeholders, including UN agencies and Civil Society Organizations. These events will aim to clarify and
illustrate the linkages between Human Rights and Population and Development through the concrete changes
the UPR process has helped to promote in national policies and practices.
