Paper Quilling Workshop
TAG artist Monica Genske is offering an earring or pendant workshop in
quilling, Saturday, March 12th at 9am on the second floor of the ACT
Building. Lessons include techniques for creating abstract swirls,
fitted inside a basic outline shape; all from rolls of paper.
Quilling is an art and craft form involving the use of thin strips of paper
that are rolled, shaped and glued together to create decorative designs.
Tools provided -- Cost is $15.00 for a pendant or earrings.
Additional pieces $5.00 each.
Some of the tools needed to complete this project are paper and glue,
scissors, ruler, a slotted tool to wind the paper strip around and
a love for learning something new!
