for a report of a burglary alarm. The property was found to be secure.

report of a problem with a neighbor’s dog chasing delivery personnel.
Contact made with the caller and the owner of the dog. The dog owner
was made aware of the problem and advised they would try and keep the

warrant, 12LM2429W for failure to appear. She was transported to and
booked into the Cowley County Jail on that warrant. She has since posted
bond and been released.

of the roundabout on the U.S. 77 Highway Bypass. Upon further
investigation, the driver, Jason Edward Meyers, M, W, 44, Arkansas City
was arrested for driving under the influence, no interlock device on vehicle
when required and no proof of insurance. He was transported to and
booked into the Cowley County Jail. He has since posted bond and been
released

of South Summit Street. Upon further investigation, Wilson Noe Garcia-
Calmo, M, W, 27, Arkansas City was arrested for driving while driver’s
license is cancelled or suspended. He was transported to and booked into
the Cowley County Jail. He has since posted bond and been released.

report of the caller finding some car parts in his yard along with some ruts.

report of a male coming to the caller’s house who told them he had been
involved in an accident by the river. The subject was later located and he
stated he did not know the area. He went down a path off of the 28000
Block of 21st Road and drove off into the river. The driver refused any
medical attention.

report of criminal damage to property when a dumpster that had been
delivered rolled into the caller’s garage door causing damage. The caller
was going to call the company and try to work it out and wanted a case

the William Newton Memorial Hospital for a report of an accidental
gunshot wound that had occurred in the 27000 Block of 281st Road. Two
subjects were target shooting when one of them was unloading a .22
revolver and it discharged striking the other subject in the shin area.

Ridge Road for a traffic violation. Upon further investigation, the driver,
Larry Wayne Meyer, M, W, 67, Winfield was arrested for driving under the
influence and driving a vehicle without interlock when required. He was
transported to and booked into the Cowley County Jail. He has since
posted bond and been released.

Sheriff’s Deputies stopped a vehicle in the area of 182nd Road and 21st
Road for a traffic violation. Upon further investigation, the driver was
found to have an active warrant out of California but authorities there
refused to extradite the subject. The driver was issued a warning for the
equipment violation and advised of the warrant in California.
