The East Gate Garden
Our facility’s garden has a new look. New table and
Chairs with umbrella’s, a clock and thermometer.
Check out the fish pond as the fish are getting big!
Accessible through the 1st floor Memory unit or just a
short stroll around the north side of the building—the
Garden is available for use by residents and families.
Great for a small family gathering with your loved one.

Microwave Elephant Ears
Ingredients:
• 1 tortilla
• Margarine
• Cinnamon
• Granulated sugar
• Brown sugar
Directions
1. Spread margarine on both sides of tortilla.
2. Sprinkle a small amount of cinnamon, granulated sugar,& brown sugar on one side.
With the back of a spoon, swirl together all ingredients. Repeat on the other side.
3. Place your elephant ear on a microwave-safe plate and put in the microwave for
45 seconds to 1 minute. Use caution when removing from microwave. It will be hot!
SNOW—CONE SYRUP
Ingredients:
• 2 cups of sugar
• 3/4 cups water
• 1 pkg unsweetened Kool-aid

Directions
1. Bring sugar and water to a full boil.
2. Remove from heat and stir in Kool-Aid. Chill well.
3. Add kids and poor over crushed ice.
