OnceyouhaveusediC3Dtocreateyourrequiredmodel.
Select“File”fromthemainmenuinthetopleftcornerofyourscreen,scrollto“Export”,
andthenselectthe“iC3DOpsis”optionfromthe“Export”dropdownmenu.
Onceyouhaveselectedthisoption,the“OpsisExportbox”willappearonyourscreen.
YouwillneedtoenteryourUsername&Passwordwherestatedinthebox(thisisyour
Opsisaccountlog-indetailsthatwasprovidedtoyou).
Inthenext3fieldsyoucanenter:
“ModelName”(Anameofyourchoiceupto60characters)
“JobID”(Refname/No.ofyourchoiceupto60characters,ifrequired,orleaveblank)
“CustomerName”(Customernameofyourchoiceupto60characters,ifrequired,orleave
blank)
*PleaseNote:Youmustentera“ModelName”asaminimumnamingrequirementto
exportthemodeltoOpsis.
The“ExportSpinAnimation”:ifyouselectthisoption,yourmodelwillbeexportedto
Opsiswithadefault360°spinanimationonthemodelshorizontalaxis.
*Pleasenote:
Ifyouhavecreatedyourownmodelanimation,usingiC3D’sanimationtools,the“Export
TimelineAnimation”optionwillalsobecomeavailableforselection.Inthisexamplethe
modeldoesnothaveanyanimationcreated,sotheonlyoptionyouhaveistoselect
“ExportSpinAnimation”ifyourequirethisoption.
OntherighthandsideoftheOpsisexportwindow,youwillnoticeathumbnailimageof
yourmodel,thisistheexactcroppedviewyouwillseewhenyouuploadandviewyour
modelinOpsis.Ifyouclickthe+or–symbolsunderneaththiswindow,youcanzoominor
outfromyourmodel.Thisisusefulifyouhavecreatedananimationtimelineofyourown
tomakesurethefullanimationwillfitintheexportedwindowview.
Onceyouarehappywiththesesettings,clickthe“SendtoOpsisButton”
ThiswillexportthemodeltoyourOpsisaccountandalsogenerateaHyperlinktoviewthe
exportedmodelinyourownwebbrowser,onyourmachine.
Oncetheexportiscompleteyouwillseethebelowboxappearonyourscreen
Click“Copy”,andthenpasteintoyourwebbrowseraddressbartoloadandviewthe
modelintheOpsisviewer
Click“Share”,thiswillembedthegeneratedHyperlinkintoadefaultemail.Youcanthen
sharethelinkwithanyoneyourequiretoviewthemodel.Justaskthemtoclickonthe
Hyperlinkwhentheyreceivetheemail,andthiswillautomaticallylaunchthemodeland
openitwithintheOpsisviewerusingtheirdefaultwebbrowser,ontheirmachine.
Click“View”ThiswillautomaticallylaunchthemodelandopenitwithintheOpsisviewer
usingyourdefaultwebbrowser,onyourmachine.
Click“Close”whenyouarefinishedviewing&sharing,etc,thiswillclosetheHyperlink
box.
Viewing&InteractingwithyourModelintheOpsisviewer
WhenyoulaunchamodeltoviewinOpsis,youcaninstantlyinteractwithitjustby
clickingonthemodelanddraggingitwithyourmouse.Thiswillallowyoutorotateyour
modelinafull360°rotationonthehorizontalandverticalaxis.
Youwillalsonoticeacontrolpanelatthebottomofthescreen
ControlPanel
Themodelfilenameisdisplayedinthebottomlefthandcornerofthepanel.
Thereare7buttonstoclickontoperformthefollowingtasks:

ZoomIntool,tozoominonyourmodel
Zoomouttool,tozoombackoutfromyourmodel
PanTool,thisbecomesactivewhenyouarezoomedinonyourmodel.Selectthistool
whenitisavailabletopanaroundthemodel.Whenzoomedin,clickanddragonthemodel
topanwiththisbuttonselected.
Rotatemodeltool,willallowyoutorotateamodelinafull360°rotationonthe
horizontalandverticalaxis,oncezoomedin.Clickthisbuttonwhenzoomedintoactivate
thisfeature,andthenclickonanddragthemodeltorotateit.
ThePlaybutton,thiswillplayanyexported“SpinAnimation”,or“TimelineAnimation”
exportedwiththemodelfromiC3D,clickplaytoplaytheanimation.
Clickstop,tostopthe“SpinAnimation”.
(Pleasenote:the“Spinanimation”playsonacontinualloopuntilyoupressthestop
button,the“TimelineAnimation”resetsitselfwhenitreachestheendofthesequence,and
thestopbuttononlyappearsonceyoupresstheplaybutton).

GotoyourWebBrowserandtypeinic3dopsis.comintotheaddressbar,thiswilldirect
youtotheOpsisaccountLog-inScreen.
YouwillneedtoenteryourUsername&Passwordwherestated(thisisyourOpsis
accountlog-indetailsthatwasprovidedtoyou),andclickthe“Log-inButton”
OnceLoggedinyouwillseeyouraccountscreenwiththumbnailimagesofallthemodels
thathavebeenexportedfromiC3DtoyourOpsisaccount.
Clickonathumbnailyouwishtoworkwith,thiswillbehighlightedinredasaboveasyou
scrolloveranymodelsthumbnail.
Youwillthenseeathumbnailofthatmodelappearonthebottomrighthandcornerof
yourscreen,aboveitwillbethenamingdetailsthatyouenteredwhenexportingthe
modelfromiC3Dwithadateandtimestampofwhenthemodelwasexportedtoyour
Opsisaccount,andtheHyperlinkgeneratedforthatmodel.
Youcannowcompleteoneofthefollowingactions:
Click“Delete”,thiswillremovethemodelfromyourOpsisaccountpermanently.Thiswill
beusefulifamodelisobsolete,orwhenyouhavereachedyourmaximumuploadlimitto
makespaceforfutureuploads.
Whenyouclick”Delete”aboxwillappearonthescreenasasecuritymeasure.Thisisfor
youtoconfirmbyclicking“Yes,orNo”thatyouintendedtodeletetheselectedmodel.
Click“Yes”,thiswillconfirmdeletionandremovetheselectedmodelfromyourOpsis
account.
Click“No”,thiswillgobacktothepreviousscreenandclosethebox.
Click“View”Thiswillautomaticallylaunchthemodeltoviewinyourdefaultwebbrowser.
Click“Share”thiswillembedthegeneratedHyperlinkintoadefaultemail,youcanthen
sharethelinkwithanyoneyourequiretoviewtheOpsisfile.JustAskthemtoclickonthe
HyperlinkandthiswillautomaticallylaunchthemodelandopenitwithintheOpsisviewer
usingtheirdefaultwebbrowser,ontheirmachine.
