and I will review their grading. I already graded period B1’s quizzes.

- Discuss: “Cask” I will read students the story and discuss it as I read since this story is so difficult
for them.

- Activity: In pairs, find an example of each situational or symbolic irony, dramatic irony, and
verbal irony from “The Cask. . .”. Also, find three examples of foreshadowing.
- Read: True story “Cask” was based on (1 page)—I will read this to students.
HW: Study for short story unit test on Wednesday (b) and Thursday (g) of next week (make sure you
