our Annual Congregational Meeting that begins immediately
following the 8:30 am Worship Service.
We welcome everyone to our worship service today. If this is
your first time with us, please fill out the “Communication Slip” on the
side of your bulletin and place it in the offering plate or hand it to
Pastor Wayne after the service today. We are glad you are here
worshiping with us.

Congregational Meeting today at 9:30 am
in the Sanctuary.

Connection” to the church office by today, November 20th. Printing will be
done at the beginning of the week due to the Thanksgiving Holiday.
Community Thanksgiving Service
on Wednesday, November 23rd
at 7:00 pm at the First United
Presbyterian Church.
Pastor Jeff Kettering will
bring the message.
No Connection Groups on Wednesday, November 23rd.
Volunteers are needed on Saturday, November 26th at
9:00 am to help prepare for the “Hanging of the
Greens”. There are jobs for all ages and skill levels.

“Hanging of the Greens” on Sunday, November 27th.
The “Hanging of the Greens” Covered Dish Dinner
will be at 5:00 p.m. Meat, rolls and
drink will be provided. Each family
is asked to bring one hot dish and
one cold dish to share. Following
the meal, we will join together in the
sanctuary for the Hanging of the
Greens Service at 6:30 p.m. You do
not have to attend the meal to attend the service.
Please bring a special ornament to hang on our
Christmas Tree.
G.I.G.G.L.E.S. Ladies Lunch Ministry will meet on Tuesday, November
29th at 12:30 p.m. at CJ’s. If you want to carpool, please meet in the church
parking lot by 12 Noon.
Please note the date change: The next PAW Packs meeting will be
held on Tuesday, November 29th at 6:30 p.m.
42nd Annual Living Christmas Tree at the Newburg
First Church of God (260 Newburg Road, Newburg)
on December 1st – 3rd at 7:00 pm and December 4th
at 3:30 pm. Come out and support the many people
from our church family who will be singing in the
Living Christmas Tree performances. Invite a friend!
Doubling Gap Church of God (50 McCrea Road, Newville) presents “Come
to Bethlehem and See” Drive-Thru Live Nativity on December 2 & 3
from 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
Ladies, Journey to Doubling Gap Center for “A Wonderfilled Christmas” on Tuesday, December 6th at 6:30 pm.
Cost is $15.00 for Appetizers, Meal, and Program. Due to
only having 66 seats available this year, we are asking that
you give your name and payment to Jean Sponenberg at
the same time. Reservations and payment are due by
today, November 20th. Please bring one of the following items to benefit
the Paw Pack Ministry: Hormel Completes Chicken w/ mashed potatoes-10
oz., Chef Boyardee My Snack – Beef Ravioli- 7.5 oz., Microwavable
Popcorn – single serve pack, Chicken Noodle Soup –10 3/4 oz. can, Rice
Krispie Treats –.78 oz. bars, Cold Cereal - single serving box, Instant Oatmeal

The Children’s Christmas Program will be
held on Sunday, December 11th at 6:00 p.m.

practice on Saturday, December 10th from 11:00
am – 1:00 pm with lunch included.

We are in need of Acolytes for 2017. The task of the acolyte is to light the
Altar Candles before the worship service begins. If you have a child age 7
to 12 years old and would like to serve as an acolyte, please fill out the
Acolyte Information on the Communication Slip on the side of your bulletin
and place it in the offering plate today. Thank you.
