Upromise® Schools Program How to join Upromise through the Upromise Schools Program and begin saving money for your child’s college education – and earning money for our school. First of all, what is Upromise? Upromise is a free service with the mission of helping families achieve the goal of a college education. Upromise provides hundreds of ways to turn everyday spending into college savings. Through Upromise, parents can earn cash rewards on their everyday spending on groceries, gas, online shopping and more. And what is the Upromise Schools Program? The Upromise Schools Program adds a new dimension to the Upromise service. The Upromise Schools Program is a fundraising and college awareness program from Upromise that can raise hundreds – even thousands – of dollars for our school. At the same time, the Program helps parents like you save for college. What’s the catch? There isn’t one. Upromise has a mission of working with as many parents and schools as possible in order to support the K-12 community, and help send more kids (like yours!) to college. page 1 of 2 How do I get started? Joining Upromise and getting started with the Upromise Schools Program is easy. Here’s how it works: Join Upromise for free through upromise.com/schools. You’ll have the chance to select a school during the enrollment process. Register your credit, debit, grocery, and drugstore cards with Upromise. Why? Upromise has joined with hundreds of America’s leading companies who have made a commitment to helping families save for college. They’re ready to give you back a portion of your eligible purchases as college savings – just for choosing their products and services. My all-time favorite ‘free find’ is Upromise. After three years, I have yet to find a catch and continue to receive free money on everyday purchases. ~ Mary Y. By registering your cards, Upromise can verify to many of its partners that you have shopped for their products and services—and have earned rewards on your eligible purchases. There are no coupons to clip, no receipts to turn in. How can I raise money for our school? And how much can I raise? The first way to raise money is by earning bonuses. Our school can earn money the first time you: Activate your Upromise account – Our school can receive $3 from Upromise the first time you activate your Upromise membership by registering a valid credit, debit, grocery, or drugstore card. Shop online – Our school can receive $5 from Upromise the first time you earn a contribution for shopping online through Upromise. Dine out – Our school can receive $2 from Upromise the first time you earn a contribution through the Upromise Dining program. Get the Citi® Upromise® Card – Our school can receive $20 from Upromise the first time you get and use a Citi® Upromise® Card.† In addition, you can raise money for our school through Special Bonus Programs. These programs change regularly so you’ll want to check back to upromise.com/schoolsspecialbonus often to learn what programs are available. Important! To earn each of the bonuses described above for your school, you must complete the relevant activity for the first time within 90 days of first linking your Upromise account to a school account.* You can also share any portion of the Upromise rewards you earn with our school. Invite your family and friends to help you save even more for college—and raise money for our school! I’m already a Upromise member, can I still participate? Absolutely! Simply log in to your Upromise account and link your account to our school’s account. To do this, select “link a school” from the left hand side of the “My Account” page, and follow the prompts there. †In order for a school to receive $20 from Upromise, you must apply and be approved for a Citi Upromise card and use the card within 90 days of first linking your Upromise account to a school account. *Participating schools will only be compensated for one Member per household. In addition, bonuses will only be credited to a participating school if the school is linked to the Member's Upromise account at the time the bonuses are credited. If a Member is linked to multiple schools at the time when bonuses are credited, such bonuses will be divided evenly among all linked participating schools. page 2 of 2
