SPAGHETTI SQUASH
WITH CINNAMON APPLES
RECIPE OF THE MONTH
Directions
For the Spaghetti Squash with Sweet Apples and Cinnamon: Pre-bake the spaghetti squash at 375
degrees for 40 minutes. Scoop out the seeds. Then scoop out the spaghetti squash into a bowl. Add the
cinnamon, nutmeg, and orange zest, and mix together. Core and chop the apples. Measure the butter and
brown sugar, and add them to a pan over medium heat. Add the apples and orange juice, and saute the
mixture over medium heat until the apples are cooked and the orange juice is reduced. Add the spiced
spaghetti squash to the apple sauce and heat together in the pan, stirring until combined and heated. Make
the cream topping and add when ready to eat!
For the Yogurt Cream Sauce: Mix the yogurt and honey and dollop on top of dish!
