Multi-modal Presentation Specific focus negotiated with Teacher Inquiry Topic: The Persian Wars / The Peloponnesian Wars 7-10 minutes per student Task sheet distributed: WEEK 1 Week beginning 30th of January Drafts due: WEEK 6 Week beginning 27th February Final Presentation: WEEK 8 Monday 13th March MID-SEMESTER BREAK: Friday 31st March – Tuesday 18th April Studies of Power Identifying, analysing and evaluating the methods used by the Gracchi to exercise power Analysing the extent to which the extraordinary methods were revolutionary Analysing the aims and objectives of each of the Gracchi and the use of power Determining how their power was to be maintained Examining and evaluating the achievements of each of the Gracchi Assessing the motives behind their reforms Identifying individuals / groups most affected Evaluating the resistance of the Gracchi and the long term effects Examining the powers of the tribunate and the Assembly Extended Written Response to Historical Evidence Inquiry Topic: The Gracchi Exam conditions (in class) WEEK 4 Completed over two consecutive lessons: Tuesday 9th and Wednesday 10th May End Sem.
