Photographs during School events
As the season of Summer sports and shows is upon us, I would
like to remind you of our school stance on taking photographs of
children at school events. Here at Hanging Heaton, we know
how important it is that you have a record of major milestones
in your child’s life such as school plays and we are happy for
parents to take photographs both during and after the events.
Any photographs/videos taken at school events are for personal
use only and we ask that they are not published online including
on social networking sites such as Facebook. As you are aware,
we seek permission for online publication and not all parents
agree to photographs being published online for a number of
reasons including serious child protection concerns. As a school
it is important that we fully respect the privacy of such pupils
and we thank you for your support in this. If you have any
concerns or would like to discuss our policy in more detail please
don’t hesitate to contact me.

After school clubs for September

Summer shows – 4 July, 2016 - 1pm and 6pm
Please note the date for our summer shows. All children are
involved with both shows and therefore will need to return for
the evening performance. Please speak to your child’s class
teacher if your child can not attend the evening performance so
this can be considered when giving out roles. More information
with regards ticketing and content will be sent out soon.
Letters to book places for after school clubs
from September will be going out next week –
look out for these! Current Reception
children, as they are moving in to year 1, will
also receive these letters. Return slips early to
avoid disappointment!
